The inevitable rigid rhythm and architectural detailing of an industrial building has been pared down to its essence. The natural tones of the concrete structure combined with the softwood for all joinery, which, incidentally, is also used for the wine crates, soften the overall look and establish the link between production and sales. The minimal use of materials and texture also constitutes an important sustainable feature here and also creates a clear dialogue between architecture and wine culture.
