Arno Goedefroo
Ir. Architect
Graduated as a Civil Engineer-Architect from Ghent University in 2021 with the highest distinction. During his studies, he participated in an Erasmus exchange in 2020 at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
During his studies, he conducted sketch workshops for fellow students and was a study coach for first-year bachelor students. In 2020, he had the opportunity to participate in the RIBA Norman Foster Travelling Scholarship. During his stay in Munich, he and his fellow students were nominated for the German Brick Award with their submission for the course Climate Active Bricks.
After his studies, he joined the firm Neutelings Riedijk Architects in 2021 as part of his internship. In 2023, Arno joined his father Sven Goedefroo at the new relaunch of the firm: Goedefroo Architects.
During his time in the Netherlands, he won the Ghana Innovation Farm international competition in 2021, together with his friends Robin Feys, Shiran Potié, and Maurice Demeyer. In 2022, he was selected to participate in the Masterproef MP2206: a new meeting space for the garden district in Zele.
